DESCRIPTION
What you get
Bootcamp & Acceleration – Shortlisted projects will be invited to a 2-day bootcamp to solidify their entrepreneurial skills and polish their ideas. Six (6) high-potential projects will be selected to enter an intense 5-month acceleration phase, filled with one-on-one coaching sessions and tailored workshops by Deloitte and Impact Hub experts specialized in Startup Development, Financial Advisory, Human Capital, and Enterprise Technology & Performance.
Experts & Peers – After conducting an initial assessment of your development needs, you will work with our experts on a weekly basis to accelerate your venture. Next to individual coaching sessions, you will also participate in 5 workshop days in Vienna. Here you will work with other entrepreneurs and strengthen your network of climate innovators.
Pitch & Prize – Finally, you will pitch in front of a multidisciplinary jury which will select the 2 most promising ventures and award them with a prize of € 10.000,- for first place and € 5.000,- for second place as well as 50 additional Deloitte expert hours each.
Who you are
You have an innovative idea, project, or start-up in Austria, which contributes to creating a better future amid the climate crisis. You want to hone your entrepreneurial skills, further develop your venture, and ramp up your implementation.
Important informations
All start-ups, projects, or ideas that have been submitted by October 22, 2023 18:00 CET will be reviewed and the shortlisted applicants will be announced on November 3, 2023. These will be invited to participate in the pre-acceleration Bootcamp from November 20-21, 2023. The Bootcamp will include workshops, coaching with Deloitte mentors, peer-to-peer formats, and a pitch to support the development of each project and identify those with a high potential for success and impact.
On December 23, the selection committee will announce the 6 finalists who will be invited to participate in the 5-month acceleration program. This will start with the Kick-Off Workshop on January 30, 2024 in Vienna.
The acceleration program will end with the final expert jury hearing and Award Ceremony on June 18, 2024. The First Place Venture will receive a prize of € 10.000, and the Second Place Venture will receive € 5.000. Both ventures will additionally receive 50 pro bono consulting hours from Deloitte.
Language
It is important that participants are able to understand English, as several of the workshop trainers do not speak German. However, all written and verbal inputs from the participants may be given in German or English, depending on what is feasible and makes the most sense for each team.
